The Muskegon Heights Housing Commission is the governing body that determines policies and resolutions of Muskegon Heights. The Board approves decisions that chart the direction of current and future programs and authorizes the actions of the Chief Executive Officer/Executive Director and his designees.
The five Board of Commissioners is confirmed by the Muskegon Heights Housing Commission with recommendations from the Mayor of Muskegon Heights. All commissioners must be residents of the county of Muskegon, and at least three commissioners must be Muskegon Heights residents.
